The process for the Allergy Buckwheat Test involves a simple blood test. The doctor will attach an elastic band on your arm to control the blood flow. The patch of skin for taking blood is cleaned with alcohol. A needle is inserted in the vein to draw out the required amount of blood sample. The area is cleaned again and bandaged. The sample will then be tested for IgE antibodies in the laboratory.
