About Akurit-4 Tablet
This medication is an antibacterial drug which helps in treating and preventing tuberculosis. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it, have any history of liver disorders or ever had hepatitis. Ask your doctor, if you can use the medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, kidney problems, nerve problems, unsanitary injectable drug habits, HIV or you have previously taken isoniazid. This medicine should be taken 1 or 2 hours before meals.
The dosage is based on your medical condition, age and how you respond to the first dose of the medicine. Common side effects include Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), increased liver enzymes, Jaundice, nausea and vomiting.
