About Amaryl M 2 Tablet Sr

This medication is used in treating patients suffering from type 2 Diabetes, who can't control blood sugar levels through. Hence this drug is used to enhance the positive effects of diet and exercise with respect to blood sugar. It is also used in combination with other antidiabetic medicines. This is a type of sulfonylurea along with biguanide as a combination of anti diabetic medicine.

This medication makes the skin much more sensitive to the sun. Hence, if you are using this medication, use sunscreen to avoid skin problems. Limit the intake of alcohol during medication. Also, inform the doctor if you are currently using any prescribed drugs or diet supplement.

This medication might cause certain side effects as well. The common side effects arising due to the intake of this medication are anxiety, irritability, sweating, dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, etc. Generally, these side effects are mild and go away on their own after a few days.
