Amix 500Mg Injection is used for chloroquine resistant malaria, falciparum malaria and other cerebral malaria cases. It kills malarial parasites by interacting with heme.
Some side effects that this medicine could cause include headache, general weakness, nausea, leg pain, chills, vomiting, cough, pain at injection site, body ache, abdominal pain, dizziness, rigours and watery diarrhoea. It could also cause pneumonia, respiratory tract infections and weight gain.
Before using Amix 500Mg Injection, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, non-prescribed products, pre-existing diseases, allergies and current health conditions including pregnancies, disorders and surgeries. Inform your doctor if you have HIV or any heart problems. Some health conditions may increase the risk of side-effects of the drug.
