About Apel 2Mg Syrup

Apel 2Mg Syrup is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms caused by seasonal allergies, food or blood such as watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or itching eyes or nose. It works by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction. It also treats mild, uncomplicated hives.

During treatment with this medicine, you may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth, nose or throat as side effects. Some people may also experience serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen.

This medicine is not prescribed for people who have an allergic reaction to it, women who are breast-feeding, a newborn baby or premature infant, an elderly person, those who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage. If you are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, do not take this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your medical conditions and other medications you are taking during this treatment.

The dosage is based on your age, weight, medical condition, body size and response to treatment.
