About Apetamin Syrup
Apetamin Syrup is an antihistamine used to cure lack of appetite in the body. It works by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that causes inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.
This medicine is not prescribed for people who have an allergic reaction to it, women who are breast-feeding, a newborn baby or premature infant, an elderly person, those who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage.
If you are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, do not take this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your medical conditions and other medications you are taking during this treatment.
One might take this medicine as per the dose and duration advised by your doctor. It is better to first check the label to know the directions before use. The dosage will also depend on the age, weight, medical condition, body size and response to treatment.
