About Ascabiol 0.1%/1% Emulsion
Ascabiol 0.1%/1% Emulsion is used for treating scabies and lice. It comes as a topical lotion for the skin and shampoo for hair and scalp. Also, note that Ascabiol 0.1%/1% Emulsion is used for the treatment of these conditions and does not help in prevention.
This medication is used externally; avoid taking it in mouth and protect it from getting in the eyes; if it gets in your eyes, wash them immediately with cold water, and seek medical attention if you have a persistent burning feeling. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Also, people who have a history of skin disorders should avoid using this medication.
The common side effects noticed with use of medication are burning sensations, itching, dryness, numbness or tingling of the skin and rash.
