Use asthma preventor medicine by inhalation with spacer. Avoid dust, smoke, pollution and allergens.

Asthma although can occur in any age but if it has started in childhood, by the age child reaches 15 years many will get cured, as the lung tissue also grows and body's immunity status also develops, but if it has continued till adulthood then it has lesser chances of complete cure. Take foracort 400 mdi 2 puffs twice/day with zerostat spacer, asthalin inhalation only rarely, definitely not regularly. Avoid taking betamethasone which might be causing red spot and face swelling. Joint pain can be due to osteopenia. Take vit d and calcium regularly.

Yes. Inhaled corticosteroids have minimal effect on blood sugar levels, although theoretically that's possible. But using inhalers will keep your lung problem in control and further exacerbation may be prevented. If you were a confirmed asthmatic and continue to smoke, then your disease may change to copd, where the broncho-constriction is irreversible and the risk of exacerbation increases, so quitting is the best way for future.

World over the treatment for asthma is inhalers. Also if. Your asthma has been controlled well for 20 yrs with stable lung function, you must continue inhalers. However it is advisable to seek a chest physician opinion with latest spirometry. You can contact me in private clinic.

Yes , asthama could b the diagnosis , if wheezing occurs with change of season . Besides montair , she shld b given asthalin inhalers as well .

U should continue with budecort inhaler. But take levolin inhaler on sos basis i. E as and when required. Take calcium and vit d supplementation as during exacerbation muscles are overworked. Also vit d deficiency is very common these days. Take protein supplementation also in form of sprouts. Good luck.

Most probably it is allergic cough, hence giving an inhaler is the right thing to do. Inhalers do not cause any side effects on the body as it is not absorbsed `systemically.

the most common cause of cough and cold in this age is viral infection. With symptomatic management usually symptom subsides.
You can give ascoril drops, nasivion pediatric drop will also help in early recovery.
The symptoms usually subsides in 3-4 days.
The baby should be investigated if symptoms persist for a longer duration.
Watch for respiratory distress or decrease oral acceptance if you find any consult your doctor immediately
