About Asvs Injection

Asvs Injection is used in case of snake bites, to prevent the poison from spreading and affecting the victim’s body. It consists of antibodies that are capable of neutralizing the snake’s venom. It is administered in the form of injections.

Observed side effects of Asvs Injection include shock, arthritic pain, rashes, round red welts on the skin, hypotension and labored breathing. In case of an increase in the intensity of these effects, consult a medical practitioner immediately. Inform your doctor of present and past medication, allergies and health conditions. The dosage of Asvs Injection will be based on the severity of your condition, the type of snake you have been bitten by and the time elapsed since the bite. Consult with your doctor to learn about any additional precautions that you may have to take. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant. In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to Asvs Injection, do not take the medicine.

Consult a doctor immediately after you are bitten. Do not delay, as certain poisons can act faster than others. Rush the victim to the nearest medical facility and ask for a doctor. You can tie a tourniquet just above the site of biting to prevent the poison’s spread.
