About Augmentin 375 Tablet
This is a combination medication which has Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid as active ingredients. As a penicillin antibiotic, this medication treats bacterial infections. It interferes with the synthesis of the cell wall in a bacteria and stops it from growing. It is used to treat infections of the lungs and airways, skin, middle ear, sinuses, and the urinary tract.
Common side effects may include stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, headache, vaginal itching or discharge or swollen or black tongue.
