About Bionase 5000Iu Injection

Bionase 5000Iu Injection, a chemotherapy drug, is used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. It also treats several other blood disorders. It works by breaking down a chemical in cancer cells which stops the cancer cells from growing and dividing. This medicine is given as an injection into a vein or as an injection under the skin.

Some common side effects of this medicine are fever, chills, nausea and vomiting, allergic reactions, poor appetite, stomach cramps, excessive sleepiness, hallucinations, depression, agitation, disorientation or seizure.

Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking and whether you are pregnant or not. Do not breast feed while taking this medication. People with a history of pancreatitis and hypersensitivity to this drug should not take it. Do not receive any kind of vaccination without your doctor's approval while taking this medicine.
