About Candibiotic Ear Drop

Candibiotic Ear Drop is an anti-bacterial medicine, used to treat bacterial infections affecting the outer parts of the ears. This medicine is also helps in treating numbness, mouth ulcers, itching, burning and multiple other conditions.

The eardrops are made up of a composed of Lidocaine/Lignocaine, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole and Chloramphenicol. The medication works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. It also blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy.

Clotrimazole brings antifungal properties to the mix and prevents the bacteria from spreading to other parts of the body. Chloramphenicol and Beclomethasone prevent the synthesis of chemicals and proteins that can lead to bacterial growth. All of these drugs combined make for highly effective medicine that can treat most bacterial infections.

There are a few side effects that one needs to careful of, including swelling, inflammation of the skin, irritation and more. Pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding should avoid this medicine since the ingredients can harm the fetus or the newborn child.

Apart from that, this medicine is safe to use with most other medicines or treatments and does not react adversely with any known food substances either.

    Candibiotic Ear Drop is a combination of local anesthetic, antifungal, antibiotics and a steroid component as an ingredient in it. It works by stabilizing the neuronal membrane by blocking the voltage-gated sodium channels. This inhibits depolarization of the postsynaptic nerve that prevents the transmission of pain signals. It also inhibits bacterial and fungal growth by causing cell lysis. And lastly, it inhibits the production of prostaglandins, thus inhibits the pain and swelling, that would be caused in the presence of prostaglandins. Altogether it improves the disease symptoms.
