About Coliwin R Capsule
Coliwin capsule is a benzodiazepine and is composed of Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium, Dicyclomine and Rabeprazole. It treats irritable bowel syndrome and symptoms of acute withdrawal syndrome. This medication is a sedative and a hypnotic medication. It functions by slowing down the movement of chemicals in the brain. Before using this capsule, inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions.

- You have a history of glaucoma, liver/ lung/ muscle/ drug abuse problems or you smoke.

Chlordiazepoxide mechanism of action for the drug is not very well known, but the EEG arousal in blocked. Clidinium is a drug that acts as an anticholinergic. The medication inhibits the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors on secretory glands, smooth muscles and on the central nervous system. Dicyclomine is a drug that treats smooth muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract which occurs due to irritable bowel syndrome. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor drug and binds to H+/K+-exchanging ATPase in gastric parietal cells, resulting in blockage of acid secretion.
