About Cosmelite Cream
Cosmelite Cream is primarily prescribed to patients to treat melasma. It is a combination of Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin helpful in treating skin related problems.It helps in skin renewal quickly. The other functions are used to reduce scars and dark circles.
Cosmelite Cream is very useful in reducing the colour of the skin and removing any dark spots like freckles, age spots and other skin discolouration associated with pregnancy, skin trauma, eczema, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy. It functions as a skin-bleaching agent which works by restricting an enzyme reaction in the applied skin cells.
Mild burning, redness, stinging and dryness may occur as side effects to using this medicine. Serious side effects which may occur include skin cracking, blistering and blue-black darkening of the skin.
Before using this medicine, discuss with your doctor your medical history, especially if you have asthma, other skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. Do not use the medicine if you have had allergic reactions to it.
Melacare Cream is recommended to apply this medicine to the affected areas of skin, generally twice every day or as directed by your doctor. Avoid its contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Avoid tanning booths, prolonged sun exposure and sunlamps. Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it.
Patient must use this medicament in the prescribed dose and manner. You must wash your hands and skin to which it is to be applied before applying this medicament on over it. Check the label for directions is advised before using it. This medicament is only for external use.
The cream is also used to treat pimples and acne in some cases. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of melanin which is the cause for the dark pigmentation of the skin, in addition to this it softens the skin when promotes a reduction in scars.
It also decreases the inflammation of the skin which reduces the redness and itching in the skin. The cream should be used with sunscreen for better noticeable effects. The cream should be used once a day, preferably at night. Apply and massage gently till the cream is fully absorbed.
The main drawback of this medication is that once the patient stops using this medication the skin starts to lose color and deteriorates. The medication is not at all recommended for lactating or expecting mothers as it poses a threat for the baby.

If the time of the missed dose is not very much then you can apply the medication, else you can skip the does and carry on normally the next time. Do not over apply to make up for the missed dose.
