About Deplatt-CV Capsule

Deplatt CV capsule is preventive medicine for heart attacks. It is a combination of 3 drugs: Clopidogrel (75 mg), Atorvastatin (20 mg) and Aspirin (75 mg). Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet and anticoagulant drug. It inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) with the P2Y2 receptor and prevents the activation of glycoprotein GPIIb/IIIa; this inhibits the platelets from sticking together.

It prevents the formation of harmful blood clots in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and cerebrovascular disease. Atorvastatin lowers the amount of LDL (low-density lipid) and increases HDL (High-density lipid) in the body. It is a dyslipidaemic agent that prevents the formation of mevalonate and lowers the LDL-cholesterol level in the body.

Aspirin is also an antiplatelet and anticoagulant medication; it prevents thromboxane A2 formation in platelets and inhibits platelet aggregation. It also has analgesic and antipyretic properties that reduces aches, body pains and fever.

Take the medicine in the dose and dosage as prescribed by your doctor. Take it with food to avoid stomach upset.
