Diloxanide

Diloxanide, an antiprotozoal agent, is the most effective medicine for the patients suffering from amoeba infections (mainly caused by Entamoeba histolytica). As far as health issues are concerned, this is one of the safest medicines.

Recommended dosage is 500mg three times a day for 10 days and the course may be repeated if needed. However excess dosage should be avoided. About 90% of each dose is excreted by urine and the rest through feces.
