About Dizitac Tablet
Dizitac is a combination medicine containing Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. It treats balance disorders in Ménière's disease and its related symptoms like vertigo, ringing in the ears, nausea and vomiting.
This medication should be used with caution in the elderly, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients with liver or kidney problems, Parkinson's disease or a blood disorder called acute porphyria. It should not be used in people who are allergic to this drug or any other ingredient in it.

How does this medication work?
This medication works by preventing the relay of repetitive messages from the nerves in the inner ears to the vomiting center in the brain. It also has antimuscarinic effect but is mainly a H1-antagonist. This tablet mainly functions by preventing the stimulation of vestibule and labyrinth thereby suppressing vertigo, vomiting, dizziness and nausea during linear or angular acceleration motions.
