Dns Infusion is an IV fluid drug that is used to treat patients who have suffered any major blood and fluid loss, or if they have low calcium levels in their blood, or are undergoing active treatment of insulin hypoglycemia, or even as an Intravenous infusion of a carbohydrate source.
Dns Infusion is also prescribed to patients who have low potassium levels and low sodium levels in their blood. Dns Infusion also helps with the active restoration of essential electrolytes in patients who have dehydration or carbohydrate depletion. Dns Infusion may also be prescribed for treatments like Water replacement and other conditions.
Dns Infusion is made by Shree KrishnaKeshav Laboratories Ltd and it has Dextrose and Sodium Chloride as active ingredients.The primary principle on which D.N.S Infusion relies is to increase the total volume of blood.
Dns Infusion also works by basically replenishing the lost electrolytes in the blood and also by stabilizing the overall blood pressure as it possesses high sodium chloride content. It is also used to and restore blood glucose levels in patients who have hypoglycemia and it provides a source of carbohydrate calories when needed.
Symptoms of Dns Infusion over-dosage/Toxicology include fluid overload, pulmonary edema, increased bleeding time, decreased platelet function. Treatment is supportive, blood products containing clotting factors may be necessary.
