About Earwel Ear Drop

Earwel Ear Drop is used to treat ear infections. It works by preventing the growth of microorganisms responsible to cause infection in the ears. It also performs its action by obstructing pain signals from the nerves to the brain to reduce pain sensation in the ear.

Earwel Ear Drop is the combination of four medicine which includes Lidocaine, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, and Chloramphenicol. This drop helps in treating bacterial infections of the ear including discomfort, itching, pain and irritation in ear.

Earwel Ear Drop works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria. The common side effects which can occur are rash, fever, aplastic, headache, and others. It is recommended to consult a doctor before consuming this medication.

Earwel Ear Drop is employed only for external use. This medicine must be used in the prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor. To get the most benefit from this medicine, it should be regularly used.

Patient must clean the affected area and make sure that they are dry. He/she must wash hands before and after treating the infection or instilling the drops. Although, the medicine instilled to treat ear externally, normally does not interact with other medicine. To be safe, inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine.

It provides Temporary relief of pain associated with serous otitis media, swimmer's ear, and otitis externa. It is contraindicated in children <1 year of age, secondary bacterial infection of the area and ophthalmic use.

Beclometasone is a steroid and block the production of prostaglandins which causes swelling, itching, and redness of the war. Clotrimazole works as an anti-fungal and stops the growth of fungi. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic it stops the growth of bacteria.
