About Enclomiphene
Enclomiphene is a fertility medication given to women to induce the process of ovulation. It is sometimes given in combination along with dydrogesterone to keep the reproductive cycle regular.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as breast tenderness, nausea, hot flushes, mood disorders, abdominal pain, bloating, rapid weight gain, increased sensitivity, heavy vaginal bleeding, difficulty with vision and breathing and headache. Should you experience any allergic reaction seek the help of your health care provider right away.
Before you start taking this medication notify your physician if: you suffer from vaginal bleeding, you have ovarian cyst, you have liver/thyroid disorder, you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, you are allergic to any food/medicine/substance, you have uterine fibroids, you have a tumor in the pituitary gland, you are already pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The dosage for this medication should be based on your age, medical history and current condition. The usual dose in adults for inducing ovulation is 50 mg orally once daily for a period of 5 days. Therapy needs to be started on the 5th day of menstruation.

How does this medication work?
This medication is primarily used for the treatment of male hypogonadism. The medication restrains the estrogen receptors, which in turn leads to the increased gonadotropin secretion in the body. The same drug increases the production of gonadal testosterone.
