About Etizola Plus 0.5 Mg/5 Mg Tablet

This medication is a sedative & hypnotic drug usually prescribed for depression, sleep and anxiety disorders. It should not be used in pregnant and lactating women. Exercise caution if you suffer from impaired kidney and liver functions, lung problems, and glaucoma.

    How does this medication work?

    This medication is a class of benzodiazepine analog that has amnestic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties. Therefore, it is used for treating insomnia, anxiety and panic attacks. The drug works as an antagonist to the GABA-A receptors which in turn prevents GABAergic transmission throughout the central nervous system.
