This medication acts as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It thus reduces hormone levels that may lead to inflammation and pain. The drug can treat mild and even moderate pain caused by conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

The drug should be taken precisely as it has been prescribed. Meant for oral consumption, this medication should be taken the whole. The drug will take about 2 weeks to start functioning effectively.
