Ferotide 50Mg Injection is a somatostatic agent. It is used to treat severe cases of diarrhea, flushes and types of cancer. It functions by decreasing the blood levels of hormones and chemical messengers. It is sold under the trade name of Sandostatin.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, skin rash, swelling, enlarged glands, bloating and slow or irregular heartbeat. If the allergic reactions persist or worsen over time seek the help of your health care provider right away.
