About Fibroease 10 MG Tablet

Fibroease 10 MG Tablet is a steroid used to terminate a pregnancy. It inhibits the secretion of progesterone that is needed to maintain the pregnancy. It should only be used if the pregnancy is within 70 days (10 weeks).

It is recommended that you do not use it if you are over 10 weeks pregnant. It can only be bought with a prescription. For a complete medical termination of the pregnancy, Mifepristone is used with Misoprostol. Mifepristone is taken as a tablet once. After 24-48 hours, Misoprostol is taken.

A women should not take Fibroease 10 MG Tablet if she is/has:

  • An ectopic pregnancy
  • Treated with long-term corticosteroid medicines
  • Inherited porphyria
  • Problem with the adrenal glands
  • Bleeding problems or is taking anticoagulant (blood-thinning) medication
  • An intrauterine device (IUD) in place, it must be removed before taking this medication.

The dosage for this medication will be prescribed by your doctor depending on your age, weight, health, and current condition. After 7 days, you must visit your doctor to check if you are still pregnant. Also, track the quantity and frequency of the bleeding.

It also blocks the effect of cortisol at the specific receptors and reducing the effect caused by an excess of this hormone.
