About Flecarite 100Mg Tablet

Flecarite 100Mg Tablet is available in the form of tablets, and is administered orally. It is used to treat heart conditions like irregular heartbeat, tachycardia and fibrillation.

Dosage generally begins with 50 mg every 12 hours. Increments of 50 mg every 4 days may be used to till efficacy is achieved. The maximum recommended dose is 300 mg per day. Side effects include non-fatal cardiac arrests, nausea, convulsions, asystole, bradycardia, hypotension, and cardiac failure. Flecarite 100Mg Tablet is also seen to have an effect on the levels of platelets in the blood, and hence, the patient’s platelet levels must be under continuous monitoring when this medicine is being administered. The physician must also continuously monitor the heart rhythm of the patient as the medicine controls the rhythm of the heart, and its general functioning.

Patients who develop unexplained jaundice or signs of liver dysfunctions are advised to stop using this medicine immediately. Pregnant women should not be given this medicine unless the doctor decides that the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks. Caution should also be exercised while prescribing this medicine to breastfeeding women and to infants. The medicine is contraindicated in patients with cardiac blocks, and in those with known hypersensitivity to Flecarite 100Mg Tablet.
