About Flokind D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet

Flokind D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet is a combination of Tamsulosin and Dutasteride. It primarily works as an alpha-blocker to relax inflamed muscles of the bladder and prostate. The medicine reduces the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) including difficulty in urination, increased urge to urinate, and a frail urine stream.

Flokind D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet is prescribed for oral use. The dosage varies with the patient’s medical history as well as the response to the treatment. The medicine is usually administered daily, thirty minutes after a meal.

Flokind D 0.4Mg/0.5Mg Tablet is strictly used by men and must be at all cost avoided by women and children. The doctor must review all existing medications before prescribing the use of this medication. Otherwise, drug interactions with medicines like prazosin, silodosin, etc may result in unwanted side effects.

Alpha1-adrenoceptors subtypes such as alpha-1A, alpha-1B and alpha-1D. The drug also restricts the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. DHT is responsible for the swelling of the prostate.
