About Fosfotas 4Gm Injection
Fosfotas 4Gm Injection is an anti-infective. It is usually given to women to treat uncomplicated bacterial infections in the urinary tract area due to susceptible strains of E. coli and Enterococcus. It functions by killing the bacteria. It is available as a single dose oral powder sachet.
The multiple doses of this medicine have been investigated for complicated urinary tract infections in men. This medicine may have an advantage over other agents since it maintains high concentration in the urine for up to 48 hours.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as nausea, vaginitis, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, asthenia, stomach pain, pain during intercourse, indigestion, heartburn, weakness, skin rash, back pain, throat soreness, swelling, heavy bleeding and vaginal white discharge with little or no odor. Always mix with water before ingesting; do not give in its dry form; pour contents of envelope into 90-120 mL of water (not hot), stir to dissolve. Drink immediately after dissolving.
