About Fosinopril
Fosinopril is used for the control, prevention and treatment of high blood pressure, as well heart failure, in conjunction with other medicines. Fosinopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, and it works by relaxing the blood vessels, thus helping to lower and bring down the blood pressure.
Do not use Fosinopril if you have a history of angioedema, if you are pregnant, if you have a history of kidney problems, if you have diabetes, or if you are currently taking a medicine that contains aliskiren.
