About Gatilox Dm 0.1% W/V/0.3% W/V Eye Drop

Gatilox Dm 0.1% W/V/0.3% W/V Eye Drop is a medication which can be used for the treatment of postoperative eye conditions (swelling, pain, redness, etc.) which are responsive to steroids and where bacterial infections or risks of bacterial infections exist.

Gatilox Dm 0.1% W/V/0.3% W/V Eye Drop is a blend of two drugs: Dexamethasone and Gatifloxacin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which obstructs the production of prostaglandins that make the eye red swollen and itchy. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic which stops the development of bacteria in the eye by avoiding their growth. This medication is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.
