About Grilinctus-Bm 2.5Mg/8Mg Syrup

Grilinctus-Bm 2.5Mg/8Mg Syrup is a combination medicine consisting of Terbutalene and Bromhexine used in the treatment of cough and related symptoms. It facilitates the thinning of mucus in the nose, lungs and respiratory pathway which makes it easier to be eliminated by the coughing process.

Coughing is the body’s inbuilt protective mechanism by which we get rid of the trapped mucus, germs or dust in the respiratory tract. This syrup helps to cough out these infective particles.

The working of Grilinctus-Bm 2.5Mg/8Mg Syrup is based upon two basic mechanisms. The first one includes relaxing of the muscles of the breathing pathway which leads to its widening. Thus, the air can move easily inwards and outwards of the respiratory tract.

The second mechanism involves thinning of the mucus trapped which leads to an easy expulsion of the same. Other related symptoms which include watery eyes, sneezing, itching, runny nose or throat irritation are also relieved by the application of this syrup.

Some common side effects associated with the use of Grilinctus-Bm 2.5Mg/8Mg Syrup include nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhoea, indigestion, headache, tremor, dizziness, tachycardia, palpitations etc. hence, this medicine should always be taken under the supervision of a doctor or physician.
