About Junior Lanzol 30 MG Tablet
This medication belongs to a class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors. It works by decreasing acid production in the stomach. This effectively controls the pH of stomach secretions. It prevents and treats stomach and intestinal ulcers, oesophagitis, and other stomach conditions involving excess acid production such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
It is also used to treat frequent heartburns happening 2 or more times a week. Over the counter, this medication should not be given to anyone who is 18 years of age or younger. The initial recommended dose is 30mg, taken orally once daily for 8 weeks.
