About Lipicard 200Mg Capsule

Lipicard 200Mg Capsule is a very beneficial medicine that can help to reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol and fats such as LDL and triglycerides. An accumulation of such fats can cause the thickening of arteries known as atherosclerosis. It helps to increase the number of enzymes in the body that helps to break down excess fats that have been deposited over time.

You shouldn’t take this medicine if you suffer from liver, gall bladder or kidney disease. If you’re allergic to it or are breastfeeding, it must not be prescribed. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes or a thyroid disorder.

It is important to take this medication exactly as it has been prescribed by your doctor. The time at which you have to take it varies from brand to brand. Some should be taken with your food and some without food.

It is to be taken in combination with a regulated diet, exercise and lifestyle. If you take cholestyramine, colesevelam, or colestipol, take it either 4-5 hours before you take this medication or 1 hour after this medicine.
