About Macmika 100 MG Injection
Macmika 100 MG Injection is used to cure various types of bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, abdomen and blood caused by E.coli, Streptococci and Enterococci.
The medication works by preventing the synthesis of certain proteins that are required for the growth of bacteria. However, Use of this medication can lead to complications related to kidney and hearing problems in elderly patients. The medication should be avoided if you have a known allergy to it.
Some of the side effects associated with this injection are Hearing loss, muscle pain, frequent urination, unusual tiredness & weakness, Difficulty in breathing and blurred vision.
The medication does not excrete through breast milk hence it can be used during breastfeeding, however, pregnant women should consult a doctor before using it to know the risks associated with the injection.

Intra-Abdominal Infections
Macmika 100 MG Injection is used in the treatment of Intra-abdominal infections like Peritonitis, Appendicitis, Intra-abdominal Abscess caused due to bacterial infection by E.coli, Streptococci and Enterococci.
Macmika 100 MG Injection is used in the treatment of Pneumonia, a common type of lung disease caused due to bacterial infection by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.
Bacteremia
Macmika 100 MG Injection is used to treat Bacteremia, a blood infection caused by bacteria Staphylococci and Streptococcus pyogenes.
What are the contraindications of Macmika 100 MG Injection ?
Macmika 100 MG Injection or any other Aminoglycosides should be avoided if you have a known allergy to it.
Impaired Kidney Function
Avoid if you have a pre-existing kidney disease as it increases the risk of kidney injury.
