About Magnex Forte 1.5Gm Injection

Magnex Forte 1.5Gm Injection belongs to a group of drugs called cephalosporin antibiotics. It is used for treating Pseudomonas bacterial infections which are otherwise resistant to this group of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis of the bacteria, preventing it from growing which ultimately kills the bacteria. Depending on your condition, medical health, age, body weight and reaction to medication your doctor will prescribe a specific dosage.

You may experience certain unwanted effects as side effects to this medicine. These may include severe allergic reactions, neutropenia, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, pain at site of injection, decrease in the number of white blood cells, low platelet count in the blood, skin rash, itching of skin, increase in the number of eosinophils in the blood and giant hives.
