Mannitol 20%W/V Infusion is used to reduce swelling in the body due to excessive water retention. It is also prescribed to reduce of increased intraocular pressure; promoting urinary excretion of toxic substances; genitourinary irrigant in transurethral prostatic resection or other transurethral surgical procedures.

The dose of Mannitol 20%W/V Infusion is regulated according to the nature and severity of the condition of the individual being treated, his or her fluid requirements and urinary output.
