About Medler Tablet
Medler Tablet is primarily prescribed to the patients suffering from common cold symptoms. It provides symptomatic relief of congestion, headache, aches and pains of colds and flu.
Medler Plus Tablet is a combination medication. It contains anti-histamine which works by inhibiting the action of histamine in the body, along with adrenergic agoinst, NSAID and psychoactive drug. The active ingredients present are Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, Phenylephrine and Caffeine.
The medicine is also used to relief symptoms of sinus pressure, congestion of the sinus, runny nose, itching of the throat and nose, watery eyes and sneezing due to upper respiratory infections, all this is are symptoms of hay fever which is a common infection that people normally get once in year.
It is also used in the treatment of allergies. The drug should be avoided if you have crossed 14 days of your dose. Some other medication that have to be avoided while using this drug are sodium oxybate, furazolidone or monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
You should consult your doctor if you have breathing problems, glaucoma, heart problems, high blood pressures, seizures, overactive thyroid, stomach problems or urinary tract infections.
The common side effects of this medication are dizziness, confusion, anxiety, constipation, nausea, restlessness, blurred vision and dry mouth. If you experience any of these symptoms consult your doctor and they should adjust your dose.
The drug is not safe for use for pregnant and lactating women, and patients suffering from severe renal impairments.

Medler Plus Tablet is a multidrug and works via multiple mechanisms. It contains active constituent which belongs to a first-generation antihistamine, which is used to prevent the allergic symptoms from conditions such as urticaria and rhinitis. This drug binds to the histamine H1 receptor, which prevents the action from endogenous histamine. It works as a COX inhibitor and adrenergic agonist hence reduces inflammation and pain in the airway passage and nose. The medicine also works by narrowing the swelling of blood vessels in the ear and nose, thereby providing great relief from discomfort. Lastly, adenosine receptors get deactivated when the drug is consumed and leads to an increase in energy.
