About Megapen 250mg/250mg Capsule

Megapen 250 MG Capsule is a medication containing two antibiotic drugs in combination which is used to treat bacterial infections.

Megapen 250mg/250mg Capsule is derived from penicillin & is a semi-synthetic drug. It is generally used to treat gonorrhea, meningitis, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and respiratory tract infections.

In a general sense, megapen 250 MG Capsule does not usually cause any side effects. However, there is still a list of possible side effects to consider. These side effects include skin rashes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, swelling of the tongue, and an increase in eosinophils.

Other side effects that are considered more serious include dark-colored urine, jaundice, pain in the abdomen, bruising, bleeding, sore throat that is persistent, and fever.

When used against the beta-lactamase of staphylococci, the large R chain does not let the beta-lactamases to bind.
