It classifies as a semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum antibiotic and acts especially against gram-negative infections. Administration of this medicine into the body is done by injecting it into a vein or a muscle.
Intake of Megazid 250 MG Injection should be avoided if –
- You have allergy from ceftazidime or other cephalosporin class of antibiotics.
- You are taking chloramphenicol
