About Onset 2 MG Syrup

Onset 2 MG Syrup belongs to the antiemetics drug group which is used to treat nausea as well as vomiting, caused by surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. This medication blocks the chemical serotonin from releasing in your gut and your central nervous system. Onset 2 MG Syrup is available in four different forms i.e. tablet, disintegrating ()dissolving) tablet, solution and film. It can be taken orally. This medication also comes in an IV (intravenous) form that can be injected to your body. You can take it with food or without food.

If you are allergic to Onset 2 MG Syrup and other medications that block serotonin, along with other allergies, you must visit a doctor. The doctor must also know about the medical history of yours that whether you had problems such as liver disease, irregular heartbeat and stomach or intestinal problems in the past. If you are undergoing treatment for depression or any psychiatric disorder., you must discuss it with your doctor.

The dosage of this medication will depend on your medical condition and how your body is responding to the therapy. In children, the dose depends on their weight and height. If the patient is undergoing chemotherapy, he must take Onset 2 MG Syrup orally 30 minutes before the treatment starts. In case of radiation, take this medication 1-2 hours before the treatment. It is also advised to take this medication before one hour before surgery. Overdose of this medication can lead to severe constipation, faint spells or feeling light-headed.
