Ovral Tablet is a contraceptive pill consumed to avoid unwanted pregnancy. It is an oral pill which is to be followed as per the regimen, for 28 days or as prescribed by a doctor. Quite a few times, it is prescribed in the treatment of irregular periods.

This medication contains two types of drugs, which is a combination of Ethinyl estradiol and Levonorgestrel as active ingredients. It functions by stopping ovulation i.e. stopping ovaries from releasing an egg.
