About Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution

Allergies can cause a lot of discomfort to the eye. Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution helps in keeping the discomfort in check. Thus, it stops the continuous itching, watering and burning sensation in the eye because of an allergic reaction.

Women who are pregnant, or are trying to conceive should inform their doctor before they take Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution. Lactating mothers should also discuss the same before they use Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution. Inform your health care provider in case you have eye power and use contact lenses.

Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution is meant to be put in the eye only. Do not get it anywhere near your nose or even mouth. If this does happen, wash the area with lots of water and pat dry. If you do use contact lenses, remove them before using Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution. When applying the drug into your eye, make sure your hands are clean and dry. Wash your hands again after applying the drug.

Pataday 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution can cause some minor side effects like stuffy nose, headache or a sore throat. These symptoms generally do not last for a long time. If you experience side effects like swelling around the eyes, burning or irritation in the eyes and blurry vision, immediately seek medical attention.
