About Pause 500 MG Tablet
Pause 500 MG Tablet is generally prescribed to prevent heavy bleeding during periods. It works as an antifibrinolytic and stops blood clots from disintegrating, thereby reducing heavy bleeding. The medicine should be taken as per the instructions given by your doctor.
It is prescribed for short-term use (2 - 8 days) in hemophilia patients, during and following tooth extraction. This helps in the reduction or prevention of haemorrhage. It is also used as an alternative to aminocaproic acid for subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).
Patients are generally discouraged from taking Pause 500 MG Tablet if-
- They are allergic to any component present in the drug
- They have a problem of blood clots that are present in the brain, eye, or lungs.
- They have bleeding because of a kidney problem or brain problem.
