About Peritol 4mg Tablet

This medication is usually used to relieve allergy symptoms triggered due to seasonal allergies, food or blood. These allergies include symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose or itching eyes or nose. It functions by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body generates during allergic reaction.

Some patients may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision as side effects. Other serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat may also occur. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen.

This medicine is not prescribed for people who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage. Keep your doctor informed about other medications you are taking during this treatment.
