It functions by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body generates during allergic reaction.

Some patients may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision as side effects. Other serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat may also occur. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen.
