Pgl M 150 Capsule is used for the treatment of thiamine deficiency including beriberi, Wernicke's encephalopathy syndrome, and peripheral neuritis associated with pellagra, alcoholic patients with altered sensorium; various genetic metabolic disorders.
The active constituent of this medicine is derived from thiamine, thus it is used as a dietary supplement. It helps to raise tissue and blood levels of thiamine, which then helps to protect the body from any med conditions arising from low levels of thiamine such as heart and nerve disorders. It also helps against diabetic neuropathy.
