Primigyn 0.5Mg Gel is generally given to pregnant women who are very close to their due date. The drug helps in the induction of labour, and widens the cervix for easy delivery. It is also used to initiate an abortion at about 12 to 20 weeks of pregnancy. Some doctors, also prescribed Primigyn 0.5Mg Gel to help clean out the vagina after a miscarriage.

The drug helps the womb and the cervix to contract, slowly pushing out the baby/placenta or the vaginal remains after a miscarriage.
