It reduces secretions in the throat, mouth and stomach before and after surgery. For curing peptic ulcers it is sometimes used in combination with other medications. Pyrolate 0.2Mg Injection acts as a barrier to the activity of certain natural substances in the body.

Pyrolate 0.2Mg Injection is a synthetic acetylcholinergic substance which competitively binds to muscarinic acetylcholine receptor and inhibits the acetylcholine activity in peripheral cholinergic receptors and reduces volume and free acidity of gastric secretions, also controlling excessive secretions from pharyngeal, tracheal, and bronchial regions.
