Rantac Mps 400 Mg/20 Mg Syrup

This medication is composed of Magaldrate and Polydimethyl Siloxane. It is used to treat sour stomach, acid indigestion, heartburn and gas. The medicine acts as an antacid that neutralizes the stomach acid and slowly increases the pH level of the stomach. Taking anticoagulants and citrate salts may increase the side effects of this drug.

It is an antacid drug that is used for the treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers and esophagitis from gastroesophageal reflux. The aluminium magnesium hydroxide present in the drug neutralizes gastric acid and increases gastric ph which in turn inactivates pepsin.
