About Spasmonil Tablet
Spasmonil Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of abdominal pain and cures the symptoms of intestinal and stomach cramping. This medicine falls under the category of antispasmodics in combination with a mild analgesic. It is also helpful in curing muscle ache, headache, toothache, arthritis, menstrual cramps, renal colic, biliary colic, etc.
It basically works by relaxing the muscles present in the GI tract and hence this medicine is used to treat stomach and intestinal cramping. Spasmonil Tab has a few major and minor side effects. The minor side effects include dry eyes, dizziness, blurred vision, weakness, abdominal bloating and a dry mouth.
The major side effects include irregular heartbeat, flushed skin, decreased sweating, loss of coordination, slurred speech, mood changes, changes in libido, and problems with urinating. If you experience any of these issues, you must contact your doctor immediately.
The dosage is based on your age, medical condition, and your response to the medicine. Your doctor may direct you to start this medication at a low dose and gradually increase your dose to decrease the risk of side effects. Before using this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of:
- glaucoma
- Enlarged prostate
- Urination problems
- High blood pressure
- Nervous system problems
- Myasthenia gravis

Also it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.
