Spasmonorm tablet is a combination medication containing a muscle relaxant along with NSAID. It helps in blocking the action of some chemicals as well as enzymes of the body as a result controlling contractions of muscles and pain associated with it. The medicine is effective in the treatment and control of various health condition like pancreatitis, inflammation, spasm pain and dysmenorrhea.

This medication is a muscle relaxant, which causes smooth muscle action and also provides anticholinergic action. Inhibition of phosphodiesterase type IV occurs as a result of the drug use. This also reduces the cytosolic calcium levels in the body. It also inhibits an enzyme named Cyclooxygenase which is responsible for the formation of prostaglandin.
