About Strocit Oral Drops

Strocit Oral Drops is a chemical that naturally occurs in the body which is responsible for regulating many vital processes in the brain as well in as the body. Strocit Oral Drops works by increasing a brain chemical called phosphatidylcholine which improves brain function. Strocit Oral Drops also decreases brain tissue damage during a brain injury by repairing damaged nerve cells.

Strocit Oral Drops has also been found to influence the cognitive abilities and improve nerve transmission. Hence, Strocit Oral Drops is used for treating alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia, cerebrovascular disease such as stroke, head trauma, age-related memory loss, attention deficit-hyperactive disorder, parkinson’s disease, and glaucoma.

Most people who take Strocit Oral Drops do not experience any problematic side effects. But in some rare cases, side effects such as insomnia, low or high blood pressure headache, blurred vision, diarrhoea, nausea, chest pains, and others. The safety of taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding is unknown. Avoid use to stay on the safe side.

You are advised to not take this medicine if you have an allergy towards any of its ingredients or if you suffer from hypertonia. It is also not recommended for anyone who is 18 years of age or younger. Medicines like levodopa and meclophenoxate can interfere with the action of Strocit Oral Drops so inform your doctor if you are taking these medicines before starting the medication.

The usual dosage of Strocit Oral Drops for slow thinking skills due to old age is 1000-2000 mg per day. For chronic cerebrovascular disease the recommended dosage is 600 mg per day. For ischemic stroke, it is 500-2000 mg of per day starting within the first 24 hours of stroke. It can be taken with or after food. Adequate amounts of fluids should be consumed while taking this medicine.

      Strocit Oral Drops is used for the improvement of cognition in patients suffering from degenerative diseases of the brain.

    • Cerebral Insufficiency

      Strocit Oral Drops is used to improve the symptoms of cerebral insufficiency like memory loss, poor concentration, lack of orientation caused to a head trauma or injury.

    • Other Diseases Of The Brain

      Strocit Oral Drops might also be used for improving the symptoms of many other disease of the brain like Parkinson's disease, age related dementia etc.

    What are the contraindications of Strocit Oral Drops ?

    • Allergy

      This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Strocit Oral Drops or any other ingredients present along with it.

    • Hypertonia

      This medicine is not recommended for use in patient having abnormal muscle tension and stiffness due to nerve damage in the brain. This condition is also present in people who have had a brain surgery to remove certain specific nerves.

    • Pediatric Use

      This medicine is not recommended for use in children who are aged 18 or below.
